Our yellow scaffold tube protection foam is designed to provide excellent padding and protection whilst safeguarding pedestrians and site workers from injuries caused by contact with scaffolding poles. It also protects the tubes from impacts, dents, and other damage. The foam is wrapped around all lower/ground-level scaffold tubes, including standards (verticals) and braces (diagonals), and around any areas where pedestrians can come into direct contact with the framework.
Supplied in convenient packs of 43, each 2-metre length has a 48mm internal diameter, 14mm wall thickness, and weighs approximately 0.5kg. Made from durable high-density foam, this high-visibility yellow tube protection foam easily wraps around ground-level 48.3mm galvanised steel scaffold tubes, cushioning impacts. For added security, we recommend using our heavy-duty cable ties (zip ties), which work well with our wide selection of scaffolding fittings and couplers to help you build safe, compliant scaffolds for industrial locations, events, and public settings.

What are the main benefits of using scaffold tube foam?
Scaffold foam helps prevent injuries (cuts, bruises, etc) if a person comes into contact with a steel scaffold tube. This foam is also used to protect the tube if a vehicle, plant or machinery strikes it. This protective sleeve adheres to all HSE-recommended safety regulations whilst being easy to install and weather-resistant.
Where is scaffold foam typically used?
Scaffolds, construction sites, street works and public events where heavy foot and vehicle traffic will occur. This foam can be used in many other settings, such as playgrounds, trampolines, schools, gyms, fitness areas, gardens, farms and agricultural settings, practically anywhere you need to prevent accidents and injuries when people are exposed to tubing.
