The foam is wrapped around all lower/ground-level scaffold tubes, including standards (verticals) and braces (diagonals), and around any areas where pedestrians can come into direct contact with the framework.
Supplied in convenient packs of 43, each 2-metre length has a 48mm internal diameter, 14mm wall thickness, and weighs approximately 0.5kg. Installation is straightforward:
The foam is pre-slit, so first open it and slip it around the scaffold tube. Then, secure it further using cable ties or red-and-white safety tape. The protective sleeve can be cut to size using a stanley knife or scissors. To remove, cut the ties or tape and slide the foam off the tube. The foam can then be reused, subject to condition.
