The Q Clamp adjustable cross 130-4 allows a 48.3mm diameter scaffold tube to pass through this fitting at a 30-to-45-degree angle. This clamp holds 3 tubes in total: two vertical tubes at the top and bottom of the clamp, which do not pass through, and the other tube in the diagonal position. It is mainly used for railings on staircases, such as the centre posts, mid-rails, and lower rail supports.

It is made from galvanised irons and weighs around 1.2kg.
The adjustable cross uses stainless steel grub screws to secure the clamp to the tube.
This Q Clamp is fully adjustable and is approximately 217mm in length.
It has been manufactured to BS EN 1562:1997 standards and has a galvanised hot-dipped finish to BS EN 1461:1999 standards.
This clamp allows angled tubes to meet centrally.
The Q Clamp adjustable cross 130-4 is not recommended to be used on the top of a vertical tube.
Once the tubes have been installed and are fully tightened using a ratchet wrench key, this Q Clamp can withstand an applied slip load of approximately 900kg.
