The Q Clamp offset 90-degree crossover 161-4 is used as a crossover joint between two tubes, 1 vertical and 1 horizontal. This fitting weighs around 0.54kg and is made from malleable iron. It is ideal for racking systems, offset guardrails, or attaching slightly offset railings to a vertical post on a barrier. It holds two 48.3mm diameter tubes at right angles, and both tubes pass through the crossover Q-Clamp but cannot be joined together.

Two stainless steel grub screws are used to secure this Q Clamp to the tubes. These clamps are galvanised and have a zinc coating to protect them from rust and corrosion. The offset 90-degree crossover reduces the requirement for cutting on horizontal rails. The 137-4 or the 160-4 retrofit clamp-on-tee can also be used as alternatives to this Q Clamp.
