This component weighs approximately 0.5kg, is made from galvanised malleable iron and conforms to BS EN 1562-1997 and BS EN 1461:1999 standards. It is compatible with 48.3mm diameter tubes and is a non-load-bearing clamp. The 90-degree short tee is supplied with 2 stainless steel grub screws and an allen key for fixing. This component only allows for the horizontal tube to be passed through the top of the clamp and is often used alongside the 90-degree 2-way elbow when creating any type of railing system.
