Scaffold Tubes to Create a Sun Shade for Horses in Kent
A lady from Luddesdown in Kent contacted us to request a price for our new 48.3-millimetre galvanised steel scaffold poles. She required 16 x 8ft tubes and 8 x 10ft tubes and was happy to place the order immediately. A specific dispatch date for the following week was requested, which was not a problem. This order was booked in, and the invoice was paid straightaway.
An ETA of late am was emailed the day before we dispatched the tubes, so she could arrange to be there. Our driver was on time and offloaded the equipment, placing the scaffolding tubes where requested.
These steel poles were intended for use in her field to create two shaded areas for her horses. They were to be 2 free-standing cube shapes measuring 8ft by 10ft, and the poles would be connected using a tube clamp. Then a UV-shade tarpaulin was installed as a cover, and the horses were free to walk through and take shelter whenever they wanted.
It looks as though they all welcomed the shade!
