Planters Using 13ft Scaffolding Boards in Guildford

A lady from Surrey got in touch with us because she wanted to place a small order for brand-new Whitewood 13ft scaffold boards (3.9 metres) to build a large planter in her garden. Once the order was placed, our transport department delivered the new European whitewood planks to her home in Surrey so she could have them ready to create the planters.

Nine scaffold planks were used for the planter’s front, rear, and base, with smaller cut-offs for the sides. This large garden box was secured with nails, with wooden corner supports added inside the planter. It was then filled with soil, ready for the plants to be added. This customer also opted to treat the boards with green fencing paint, which makes the planter look great and protects the timber against the elements.
