This customer from Seaford in East Sussex placed an order by telephone for 12 brand-new 3.0-metre scaffolding boards for creating wooden raised flower beds in his garden. A delivery date and ETA were provided. However, the customer advised us he may not be there upon our arrival, so he asked if our driver could leave the order on the driveway to the left, which was no problem.

Sanding and preserving

Before creating the raised beds, this customer sanded and preserved each plank by hand-painting both sides with a brown-coloured wood preserver. Once this was completed, he began building the first raised bed, which was the smallest of the two; it was 2 scaffold boards high all the way around. Long metal screws were used to secure the boards together. The bed was then lined and filled with soil, ready for planting flowers and veggies. The second, larger raised bed was the same width but longer and was built the same way as the other raised bed.

The customer was extremely pleased with his hard work, as the scaffold board-raised beds were a great addition to his garden.
